Ok so for context my partner is BURNED OUT maybe one day I’ll come more publicly on this page to expose who my partners employer is, but it’s not safe for me to do that right now in risking my partners job. My partner wants out, they have had a number of interviews but the problem is that my partner is so subsumed in work that even taking a phone call or doing a case study feels impossible. To even think of the firm not being aware of my partners travel movements feels impossible. Im looking on LinkedIn and Indeed kind of like an unpaid assistant would do but I keep hitting roadblocks. Does anyone have any advice on how I can support my partner? They want to do PE, corp dev, corp strategy, VC. I think even a less intense IB firm would be doable at this point. It feels pretty hopeless with hiring freezes right now.
