Please, advice for 2021 SA application

Hello guys,

I am an incoming MFin student and I need some advice. I want to reach alumni of my future university to help me get a 2021 SA gig in IB. The thing is that I don't know if it is correct to state in LinkedIn that I'm an incoming student or wait until I start the MSc in September. On the other hand, I want to apply for 2021 SA positions during this next month and I have no clue on how to stress on my CV that I'll be doing the MSc during the academic year 2020/2021.

Any insights will be more than welcome!

I don’t see any harm in reaching out to alums from your MFin school. It’d be good to ask them these questions. I’m sure they can help you answer some of them honestly. Just put that you are incoming at the school with your intended graduation date. I’m sure they’ll understand what you’re trying to do.
