Prospect won’t stop emailing
At what point do you tell a prospect to F off? After a poor networking call I have received, I kid you not, 10+ follow ups to which I have yet to respond.

How poor
Now you know how women feel. In all seriousness, you just ghost them. But to my first point, I had this explained to me by one of my directors early on. I took a networking call, and when I came back to the floor she asked how it went. I said meh kid didn't know how to talk like a regular human being. I probably won't follow up if he emails me again. She said verbatim "congrats on winning the power in the relationship". I say what the fuck are you talking about. She goes "whenever I'm on a date or interviewing, I want the next person I talk with to be the best candidate in the world. To sweep me off my feet. I'm actually rooting for them. How great of a candidate/date they are is entirely up to them. I'll play my part, but only to be neutral.
This advice has always stood out to me. Candidates just blow calls so easily trying to be smart and impressive vs being liked. It's bad enough to the point where we have to wonder if you are even a regular guy/girl. Power is in your hands. This changed everything for me about dating btw.
Psychopath vibes, however it seems effective.
sorry, how is it power if you're expected to perform tricks in order to impress somebody? and in case of dating, you're also expected to pay for their dinner.
it's actually disgusting that women treat men like they're interviewing them. I'm not a candidate looking for a job. why do I need to impress/entertain you, sweep you off your feet? how about you entertain and impress me and be the best candidate in the world? and I'll root for you. I'll play my part, but only to be neutral.
Could have been me, pls respond thx.
Maybe number 11 will do it
What made them insufferable?
The question is: why don’t you simply just tell the prospect to stop or block him? Seems reasonable after 10+ follow ups. I do respect the effort though.
Time to change your name, gender, job and location. No other solution
More seriously, you can ghost the prospect, or send a simple note to deflect towards the normal
Process (“please apply through website / hr / bad recruiter, I’m not directly involved with next steps”).
Unless you are the HR or the recruiter of course
