Putting languages/ markers you are fluent in English on resume?
https://www.wallstreetoasis.com/forums/filtering-…
A significant chunk of my work experience is foreign, and my name is pretty damn ethnic, but I'm a native English speaker and I grew up in the US. I never really thought about it until now but in that thread ^^^ SSsits dedicated a significant portion of his post talking about not being fluent in English. Do I have to worry about this? I can put in native: English, and I guess put my preferred English name on my resume, but it feels weird not having my ethnic name anywhere.
I sort of realize the point of this, given that there are a lot of international kids at my school gunning for IB jobs whose english isn't great, but also I feel like this wasn't necessary. If you listen to me for 2 seconds you'll know I'm native.
