Random Networking Email
How do I politely reply to a networking email asking how tf they found my personal email address? This person requested me on LinkedIn but had no mutuals, but I accepted because their profile showed that they were looking to break into IB and I understand the struggle. However, rather than sending me a LinkedIn message or sending a note to my work email, they sent an email to my personal email address. That address is not linked to my LinkedIn platform (or any of my social media). IF I even respond, how do I address this?
Probably found on one of the scraping sites that scrape/link your socials.
tell him u will give him an offer if he tells u how he found ur personal email. subsequently black list him upon receiving requested information. ezpz
A guy I knew likes to ask friends of his who go to the alma maters of people he wants to speak with to get their info off the alumni directories (guess how I know…). Pretty icky.
