I would really like to intern with a top sports team (be it NBA, NASCAR, F1, Football, etc - of course with my favourite teams). Or with a top e-sports/gaming team (SK Gaming, Fnatic, Fatality, etc).

Sure, I have my share of desirable internships; Investment Banking, PE. But looking back, not doing something really fun over one of the few summers I had is one thing I severely regret.

The NBA takes one person from UVA each year for a finance internship.

I am still in undergrad (soph), but I always wanted a "fun" job before getting a professional internship like being a construction worker or a coach for a youth basketball team. Never happened =/

BearcatI always wanted a "fun" job before getting a professional internship like being a construction worker .....
when did being a construction worker become a fun job?

I'm not sure if this applies but I ran a cafe/bar and had to wash dishes and serve food/drinks all week for the initial period. It was one of the best times of my life because it was really fun interacting alongside my staff and with my customers. Odd, but true?

I interned for a minor league professional sports team and trust me "fun" is not the word I would use to describe it if you are not in a finance role. It was what made me choose to definitely go the finance route

I guess it depends on the person. For me I would have loved to be any type of intern for the Yankees just to experience the "behind the scenes" rush and see how it works.

This. It's all about taking in the sounds and lights of being "behind the scenes". Interacting with people, fans etc and just having fun in general. If I wanted a finance-focused "fun" internship, I wouldn't be looking back in the slightest regret at all (maybe except for gunning for more prestigous internships).
