I received an offer for a medium sized PE shop as a Summer Analyst and only have a few days to sign. I am also currently a in a sophomore program in IB at a BB and won't know if I have a return offer until the end of this summer.
Should I sign with the PE firm to lock in that summer and potentially renege if I get the return offer at the BB. What are the repercussions of that later on in my career?
