I am under the impression that unless you are required to include your SAT score, or your SAT score is note-worthy, you should not include it on your resume.
By "note-worthy" I mean, good enough to receive commendation by National Merit PSATs, etc. If you were a National Merit finalist for PSATs, then I would include that as well as your SAT score.
More important than the SAT score are:
Your IQ score, if you know yours. Make sure to provide the URL of the website where you took the test.
The picture, which is absolutely essential.
Your "quirky"/individual email address; none of this first-name/last-name bullshit. If you have a vanity license plate, also include that.
Your marital status and sign.
That's some good stuff right there.
What about just math? I'm guessing that would raise questions about verbal score.
SAT is for undergraduate admissions only, why the fuck are people talking about the SAT? For the sake of anal sex with a hot woman nobody is going to give a shit about your SAT score, not a financial job, not a business school, they aren
Dick girth is helpful though
SAT scores are unnecessary. high college performance / GPA is what counts
I've seen a bunch of people put GMATs on... 700+ only
Yup, unless they ask for your SATs, leave them out of it.
I have been told to not even put the high school name on the resume because apparantly its irrelevant to the recruiters...So if you went to a fancy private school, hehe, some recruiters wont give a damn. Like i said before, they (recruiters) are evil people lol.
i don't think SAT score is totally being neglected, but you're certainly not required to put it on your res. i'd say put it down if it's higher than what people generally expect out of your school or if your undergrad gpa is mediocre. people assume you had stellar numbers before college if you're from an ivy (okay this is not always true but people just assume so). recently i came across a res from a non-target (rank 30+) with 1600 SAT, that would definitely help him landing the interviews.
Only reason you should put your SAT score is if you have a perfect score. Even then, if you have been out of college for a few years and have other experience, you shouldn't include anything about your high school.
I find it funny when I read resumes and they have their SAT score listed. Even worse, if I see a SAT score but no GPA, you can guarantee that I'm going to ask. Does it matter if you scored a 1500 in high school and ended up with a 3.0?
SAT= no real work experience.
leave the SAT at home, unless you are trying to get a job as an admissions officer.
I only saw 1600's. Other scores won't grab attention. SAT is easy, and it was a long time ago you took it.
i got 1450 on SAT, i went into an interveiw today for structured credit at BB
i was lookin over at my resume the interviewers had and they had my SAT's highlighted for some reason...
SAT score is necessary and will be considered.
if you did well, i would include it on there otherwise leave it alone.
when submitting your res. should it still only be 1 page long?
1 page only.
