Rising senior advice

Hello everyone,

I hope you are doing well. I’m a rising senior and I’m looking to tap into IB. I’m at a big disadvantage I’ve never had an IB internship. I just recently figured out I want to pursue IB. How can I get into this industry if I’m graduating next year? Thank you, I appreciate it.

You're going to have to grind all summer by aggressively networking, learning all the technicals inside and out, and keeping up with business/M&A news every day. You need to immerse yourself in the banking mindset as much as you can, reach out to as many alumni in banking/finance and/or family and friend connections you already have. Ask for informational interviews, keep in contact, and don't get discouraged if you don't hear back from someone/a company. Be persistent and don't take no for an answer.
