Rising Sophomore at a non-target looking for a mentor for breaking into IB

Hello everyone! I'm sorry to make one of these posts because I know it seems repetitive, but I really would appreciate any support I can get. I am a first-generation student with an expected graduation in 2026, and would love to break into the world of IB. I've loved my relevant coursework and involvement with student organizations on campus, yet I know that I am most likely behind the majority of my peers my age at more target schools or who knew about the world of IB long before I learnt about it.

I would really appreciate any advice as recruiting season comes up for 2025 at the beginning of the next year. I would also really appreciate any generous folks who would be willing to be a mentor like figure for me.

Again, thank you so much to anyone who takes the time to say anything! The community here has already been so helpful for me!
