Should I send a follow-up email asking an MD if there’s anyone might be willing to speak with me? Usually do this with analysts and associates but not sure if it’s weird to do with MDs. Like don’t they think “i’m already the top who else do you want to talk” kind of thing lol

Unless it came up in the conversation prior to the email, I wouldn't. I've done this with a Partner at a sector specific PE firm but during the call, he offered to get me in touch with a few people within his network. I just sent it in email just to remind him.
If it is a different office location wise, then yeah. Ask if he can introduce you to anyone in XYZ office.
But otherwise, doesn’t sound socially adept to mention it unless the MD brings it up.
