Should I inform the boutique shop that I have secured a corp dev internship prior to start of theirs?

I recently got an internship at a European energy company, starting in Sept (ending December), in their Corp dev and M&A in-house team.

However, I am awaiting a decision from an energy and infra M&A boutique shop regarding their January 2025 internship position. Should I inform the team about securing this Corp dev internship? Will this improve my odds of securing the January internship?

I would love any advice. Thank you!
