Should I tell them of my ulterior motives?

So I am a retail trader trying to get my foot in the door at hedge funds. I have seen a posting for an administrative assistant for which I am more than qualified for, infact probably overqualified.

In my cover letter is it advisable to say that my first love is the markets and trading and that I am ultimately looking to prove my work ethic etc to be in a position where I may be considered to be on a trading floor?

If so, any suggestions on how best to phrase it?
