Sophomore Summer Internship

Current sophomore at respected yet non-target university. Interested in consulting post grad and am in the search of internships next summer (summer after soph year). Between two main roads: 1) corporate finance internship at HQ of a major F500 company in oil refining/petro sector or 2) consulting at smaller, boutique firm (still decent in size but lacks name brand feel). I have heard conflicting arguments both ways - corporate finance route at a big company could give me a feel for the corporate business setting and give some name credibility, while consulting experience at a smaller firm would give me an insight to the industry and likely be a bit more technical. Any opinions on the right route to take? At the end of the day, I am just looking to set myself up best for recruiting next summer (securing a solid position for junior to senior year and hopefully post-grad)
