Spring Internships in Houston?

Hello,

I'm going to be a sophomore at a private school in Houston and was wondering if there are many opportunities in the area for spring internships. This summer I interned abroad in a corporate setting, but only did a little finance related work.

I know some companies offer spring internships, but I'm wondering if there are many in Houston and if so where I should be looking. I'll take whatever I can get, paid or unpaid.

Also, when would be the ideal time to look?

Thanks, all advice is appreciated.

If that's attainable I'll definitely look into it. From what I've gathered around here that sounds like the most common sophomore internship.
