S&T Resume - Tips or tricks?
I've been applying to S&T positions at MM Chicago prop shops without much success. I'm trying everything I know in order to network and have been updating my resume as I get more feedback.
Anyone got any tips or tricks?
Thanks

The reputable prop firms in chicago (drw, getco, optiver, jump, infinium, peak 6) either hire college graduates as assistant traders or look for programmers/quants. If you don't fall into one of those categories, it will be tough to get a trading job. Discretionary "manual" trading is increasingly being replaced by algorithms.
You have an interesting resume. If I were you, I would think of applying to business schools. You would stand out since you don't come from a traditional banking/consulting mold.
Thanks for the input. The other route I was thinking of going was ER, but that's tough to get into right now.
I want to go into ER as well, for a big investment management firm. You need an MBA from a top school to do that if you don't have previous work experience.
