Studying in ETH Zurich?

Hello,
I'm a first year student at the University of Toronto. I'm considering participating in the exchange program next year to study in ETH Zurich. Is it a good time and a good place to go if I want to go for IBD? How about UCL? King's? UCB? HKU?

Thanks

I think it's a good place for living and a good university. The university is very well regarderd from employers albeit not a typical target university for I-Banking in Europe. I would say it is academically more challenging than UCL, King's or HKU and it's a good place for working in Zurich or Geneva. For London etc. you may consider other, more business-oriented unviersities like LSE, SSE,St. Gallen, Bocconi.

I second NuevoBanker: Good school, but non a target for London IBD. If you're interested in Switzerland and IBD in Europe, go to St.Gallen. Of course, all this only matters if you want to work in Europe. I'd assume that for positions in North America it matters more how easily you can get good grades and how they'll influence your overall GPA (in case they're not excluded from GPA calculation).
