applying via indeed wont get you far....you need to also call the firms

wht should I tell them? i figure the most they would say is to apply online

I mean, this is just clearly trolling.

Keep hustling. dont apply through sites. cold call/email alumns (since you are at target) and speak with them. if you do it right, they'll get your resume to the right people. it is really late in the game so you need to focus on boutiques with less bureaucracy.

I'm still sitting with 0 as well. good luck.

I'm right there still looking too. Can you give me some names of firms that you mean as examples.

Leverage every family/friend connection you have. This late in the game in order to get anything respectable and paid, the connection will have to be pretty strong. You can try cold-calling alum/banks to get in that way but even most boutiques that typically take interns are wrapping up recruiting leaving smaller shops who are less likely to pay. Is there a reason you need to get paid? If you don't need the money I'd just do unpaid, but try to set up something part-time unpaid and pick up something on the side that lets you feed yourself.

i can get an internship; the worst i figure i'll go back to the play i interned last summer (it was unpaid, so were the others). so that's my last resort; it's actually the reason i haven't been focusing on small banks, b/c i figure they ain't gonna shit.

...what? You're extremely late to this process as it is. All BBs have wrapped up their analyst programs and F500 are rapidly closing their doors too.

There is no secret site to find an internship. As people have said previously in this thread, use some hustle, check out smaller firms in your area/F500 companies websites and see if you can find anything through that route.

If you go to a target you are in a lot better spot than some of the other guys on here. Check your school's alumni list, check Linkedin, ask your family. Email/Call anyone you can get a hold of.

In all honestly, you will be very lucky to get a paid position within IB this summer. You're going to want to focus on getting any IB you can this summer if you want to try and apply for FT positions.
