Superday offer rate - SA 22

I am wondering what the typical internship superday offer rate is for my specific situation. The bank is very small (>50 employees) and is in a city not typically known for investment banking. I also have prior M&A experience, and almost none of the prior interns at this firm have had any transaction-based internships like I have. Assuming I perform well I feel like that should put my chances well above 50%, what do you think?

I heard from an analyst that a lot of the people in the office spend time outdoors going hiking/surfing, etc. together. In my intro, should I include that I share these hobbies?

As another poster said - with small

firms fit is number one. You can have all the experience in the world but if you don’t click with your interviewers you’re not getting the job. Also, since the firm is so small they’re probably only taking 1-3 interns or so, so all it takes is one other dude being more likeable for you to get booted. Bring up that you also like to hike and mention that you spoke with the person about the firm and he said that. Maybe don’t mention it in your “tell me about yourself” but at the very least ask about group outings when they open time up for questions at the end.

Thanks, how else should I show I’m a good fit? Try and come off as very positive/likable?

Just be yourself, ask good questions, and find common interests with your interviewer. Good luck

In my experience, it kinda comes naturally. Approach it with the right mindset of trying to connect personally with your interviewers. If there's a chance to chat with them about something take it, and I also feel like when they give you time to ask questions is a good time to ask about things you can connect about. Coming off as positive/likeable is the baseline, if you're unlikeable they won't hire you, but getting a genuine connection will elevate you above the rest.
