Thoughts on Full Time Recruiting for SA 2023
So, how screwed are 2023 SA's for full time recruiting?
It all seems like bank failures, massive layoffs, and preparation for recession.
I decided to take a less optimal finance internship in NYC to be able to network/interview in the city, but not interested in taking a return offer.
How can I prepare for / optimize a summer in NYC or am I just fucked.

Looks to be pretty unlikely, even for the people trying to just move up market let alone break into IB
Recruited FT this year and the market was absolutely brutal.
