Too dumb / Too late to get into HF?

Am I too dumb or too late to get into HF?

720 official GMAT (Q47 V42) with some studying. 750 on prep tests.

Magna cum laude in EE from non-target school undergrad, graduated in 3 years

I'm 23, admitted to Darden a couple of years ago deferred round. not ideal- I interviewed at S but ultimately was rejected :(

I was pretty good in hs (valedictorian, rensselaer medal, NMSQT, etc.)

I'm reapplying to H/S and other M7s in a couple of years.

What are my chances of breaking into top hedgefunds at any point in my career assuming I get into H/S after reapplying? Or should I just recruit IB post-MBA and forget about it?
