Tough spot, looking for the best option

Hey guys, I'm in a bit of a conundrum. I'm a senior in college and was shooting for IB but that kind of went down the drain for full-time. I attempted trying to get internships for IB but no luck there either (haven't heard back in a week, but I assume it will be a no).

Basically, I know I can get a full-time job that won't be great. I got an offer from a backup company that I turned down months ago because I thought I'd be able to snag an IB internship. Had some other interviews at a dream job this past month, which went absolutely perfect in every possibly way, but I didn't get the offer (really surprised there, what can you do). I would say my resume looks good/amazing to non-IB firms, but to IB it looks average.

My option is either get a full-time and somehow make a lateral to another firm, or I have an option of doing an internship at BOA for Global Wealth & Investment Management. I interviewed with them, interviews were a joke compared to IB and other ones, but the position still seems promising/good for my resume. I can technically graduate in May 2012 in Finance with a Math minor, but would likely take the internship then find a full-time ASAP right after. I would return if I enjoyed the work, it all depends I guess.

Transition to IB from Wealth Management is really tough. That being said, taking a position in finance is definitely better than working in something unrelated just for the sake of having a job. You should also contact the IB firms you have not heard back from to make sure that they haven't just put you on hold or something.
