Twin Effect?

Hey guys, I'm a Sophmore at a target school with a twin brother. We are in the same clubs, have the same internships, and are networking for the same Sophmore Summer internships. Will this affect us for full time recruiting (we also have similar stats 4.0 GPA, same major , etc...).

We are also going to apply for the same firms and use the same referrals...

We’re fraternal twins and we have very different friend groups, looks, and personalities but we have similar connections. So when one of us got into a club/company we’d pull the other one through. We have basically the same resume… (it’s a solid resume) but will people ding us for it in ib

You guys should make sure you at least have unique networking contacts. I can see this getting really confusing a la Andrew Clements Lost and Found if people at the same bank aren’t really paying attention and think about you / you two by your last name.

“Smith? We already interviewed Smith. Great kid. Must be an error in the system.”

Great point, what about resume profile?

We are both in the top investment club at are target school (same coverage groups because we networked our way in with the same people lol).

We are doing the same freshman internships (PM of our investment club linked us up with the CEO of the firm).

We are recruiting different sophmore summers (but we met a guy on a train doing MM PE who can get us both a job).

Should I purposefully refuse a MMPE position for sophomore summer because I will be too similar to my twin?
