Unhappy with current path-masters of accounting student

I am doing a combined masters in accounting with undergraduate finance major at a well respected, fairly prestigious college (not heavily recruited). I am currently interning at a Big 4 doing auditing and I really don’t think this is a good fit for me. What are some other finance fields where a masters in accounting and this internship experience would be valued? High GPA if that matters at all.

Do you think I need to do networking or do you think I would be fine applying b/c technically I would be overqualified considering they only require a bachelors degree and I will have a masters?

Do everything you can. Networking is part of it.

Have a few friends who went down the Master in Accounting route and ended up in consulting, ib, and other high finance roles. You should have a shot at most positions if you spin your story the right way.

I have been applying to 100+ positions and haven't even had any first round interviews. I go to a well known school so I don't know if the Masters degree is throwing people off. Do you have any advice for my resume, should I do a mission statement?
