Veterans networking events and internships

Is anyone else attending (or has anyone previously attended) any of the upcoming veterans events (Goldman's Veterans Career Summit, Veterans on Wall Street) or have any of y'all applied to the J.P. Morgan Veterans Internship or Goldman's VIP?

I'm pretty curious what to expect going forward. I've heard back from J.P. Morgan and did a phone interview with a veteran about a week ago. The interviewer said to expect more phone calls over the coming weeks with the specific teams that may be interested in me. Goldman doesn't seem to send acceptances until January, so I haven't heard anything from them outside of the acceptance into the veterans career summit.

As for the VOWS and VCS, I'm not really sure what to expect. I know there will be workshops and recruiters, but that's about the extent of my knowledge. Does anyone have some insight into what to do to prepare for these sorts of recruiting events?
