Waitlist process

Anyone know how the waitlist works? Had my super 3 weeks ago and HR keeps telling me that they’re “still processing results” and keep pushing back the timeline on when they’ll give an update. If I was rejected, would they have rejected me straight up, or do they keep all candidates on the waitlist?

waitlisted. the other candidates have time to decide. It just depends what spot you are. Are you the alternate or is there someone ahead of you on the waitlist. Happened to me. Not all candidates on the waitlist, but probably a smaller amount that were boarder line.

Thanks for the advice! So, most of the candidates after the superday get rejected like a few days after and then keep a small pool of candidates that are on the waitlist? How long did it take for the bank to get back to you and did you get an offer after the waitlist?

i was the first alternate candidate, the people that got the offer had a week to decide, then I was the next person
