What banks should I target as a sophomore from a non-target?
I am a sophomore at a non target school, but that does have alumni in many different investment banks.
I’ve been told I should focus on one bank and attempt to network there and try to make as many connections as I can and then apply to that bank.
I just don’t know what bank to target. I don’t know what type of bank is going to be the best for me down the road.
I also need help with approaching cold calling or emailing and even LinkedIn networking.
Any advice is greatly appreciated!
Don’t put all of your eggs in one basket. Being a non-target doesn’t make you ineligible to work at the best banks, so don’t think it’s impossible to land it. Try to cover as many as you can
Do you have any tips for getting past just the application process? Specifically for resume and cover letters?
You target all of them, this is like saying which college should I focus on applying to.
