What is a good price for summer internship housing?
I'm a non-NYC native who is currently looking for housing options for my summer internship position in equity research. During my search, I saw a wide variety of monthly prices; one promising option a college that charges $5400 (about $1800 a month) for a single and $4400 (about $1466 a month) for a double. Are these good prices and is it worth paying $1000 less for a double? It would be nice to save money but I'm concerned I'll get a rowdy roommate that will give me unneeded stress. Any advice is appreciated.
