What is the ideal education path for a versatile and successful career in business?

Hello everyone. I am currently a sophomore in college, with big goals and high aspirations relevant to the business world. I want to be a versatile worker, and someone who has set themselves apart from a typical business undergraduate path. I've always had a passion for management and figuring out the best ways to motivate people. Currently, I am on an undergraduate path to receive an Industrial Engineering degree from NC State University. Afterwards, I'll be doing whatever heightens my chances to get enrolled in a prestigious MBA program, whether that be working or going into it straight out of the gates of undergrad. My reasoning behind this education path is to set myself up for a good career with potential for a lot of advancement once I find my niche, because as of now I'm very uncertain as to what kind of industry I want to break into. I've heard that the undergraduate in the businesslike industrial engineering is a great way to separate myself but still stay relevant to business and compete with business majors out of college. I am looking into getting a finance or economics minor to complement it. I want to put all of this out there and ask for opinions/advice. Is this a good way to open many doors for myself, even if right now I am not aware of if I want to pass through them or not? And if it does not seem like an ideal plan, I would appreciate advice on what could be an alternative. Thanks for reading.
