They put it bluntly but they are right. There are sophomore boutique and a few BB internships.
The best path for OP is to apply to one of those.
Honestly, I wouldn't place too much emphasis on sophomore internships... anything finance-related would be good. Basically, anywhere you can learn a little excel knowledge and a bit more finance knowledge/lingo.
