Be where they want you to be, when they want you to be there. Go in person. Do not try to make an investment bank's recruiting schedule fit your busy life.
^This. But also a lot of banks have accelerated interview processes that are geared towards students who are going/will be abroad during the normal recruiting period or people with exploding offers. I know for a fact GS and JPM have these programs (I've been through them) and I imagine other banks have something similar.
If your school has OCR, my advice would be to reach out to the recruiters for your school, let them know your situation and they will tell you how to proceed.
