Adjust your schedule to the person you're trying to network with. This goes for any career path. Suggest lunch time but keep it open ended for them to change it to what's convenient for them. I usually suggest the day and time but end emails stating something like "happy to adjust to your schedule"

If ur asking when to schedule send emails? Send it around the time they get in (9-10) to maximize the chance of them reading it

Nothing makes as big of an impression like getting an email at 3:30AM! I promise they will not forget you. Might be because you gave them a heart attack thinking you’re their associate/VP asking for edits, but nonetheless they will remember you!

I usually have the most emails at 9am - lots and lots of newsletters / random stuff come in overnight and many MDs send comments around 6am before they go into meetings all day. I think 1-4pm is my "quieter time" at least on emails.

That said juniors 1000% see your emails within a minute or two of it coming in. They are not missing any emails because an MD would end them if they missed one from them... so as long as you send it at a reasonable time (9-5, not overnight or on weekends/holidays) their response rate has a lot more to do with whether they want to do a call at all, not that they didn't see your email
