When does networking become enjoyable?

Don't get me wrong I enjoy networking but it feels like I gotta do all this prep and stuff beforehand. Like when does this become fun/enjoyable and not a chore? I would imagine when I get inbounds myself or have business to offer instead of just convincing someone to give me a job.

Yeah definitely when it’s not like unironically vital to our careers I think doesn’t feel a lot better and more like just yapping with people in the biz

Or if you get lucky and find a group full of chillers
