When is the best time to send a cold email?

Hi everyone, Im in the process of sending a bunch of cold emails to a lot of industry guys to go out for coffees. I was wondering when is the best time to send emails to different level bankers.

Essentially I want to maximize my probability of having my email read but dont want it to be at a time when they wont answer it (an email sent at 4 am obviously will be seen but quickly discarded).

Any advice or tips from experience or even advice from the guys getting the email?

I usually got the best responses when I sent emails around 9:30-10am. Definitely do not email people on Mondays, but I'm sure you know that. I usually shot for Tues - Thurs. Good luck.

I've always been a fan of the 8-830AM time to send my e-mails. I actually sent a batch out this morning and just got my first reply 5min ago. Sending it that early pretty much guarantees they'll at least see it when they're checking their morning e-mails, and providing they don't delete it gives them the whole day to circle around back to it later.

I thought this was going to be one of those jokes that you find on a popsicle stick..

This to all my hatin' folks seeing me getting guac right now..

I usually go for a little before I expect people to get into the office. IBD - 9ish am ER - 7:30ish am S&T - 7ish am

various a little based on seniority too (MD's get in later than analysts, etc.), but thats my strategy

happy hunting

Tu - Thurs too, but usually my most regular time is 2pm because that's when I'm in the middle of slacking off at work and so I write and send my emails then...

yes absolutely. generally at least 10 days apart in b/w cold emails with no response, but I reached out to some guys 2 or 3 times before they responded (3 is my personal limit). They had just forgotten to respond.
