Who to Call when expediting offer?
Hey guys, so I have a couple offers under my belt but my top choice bank is yet to start their recruiting process.
I understand from posts that I am to reach out to HR but I do not at this moment have a set HR contact. I've networked extensively at the firm, but who would be the best person to reach out to in regards to this? The person I connected the best with? The VP/MD I know is heavily involved in junior recruiting? The HR contact who I've never spoken to but I know is in charge of our school?

Call the VP/MD you know who’s involved in recruiting. They’ll have the pull and the motivation to push you through. The HR is usually useless and won’t speed up the process directly (more work for them) but will do if internal stakeholders (VP/MD) push for you.

When do you have to get back on the offers you've received? If you haven't started the recruiting process at your top choice bank, it's unlikely you'll be able to expedite the offer.
