Why tf are people asking for my SAT scores ?

Like fr, I took this test once in 10th grade hungover af and got the median score I needed for my target university never took it again.

Every headhunter, PE firm and job application is now asking me for my scores like wtf this was 7 years ago

All be it my score wasn’t the best which is why I’m reluctant to give it but it shouldn’t be asked of in the first place, it is so out of date and does not translate into the person we are today. When is was a high school sophomore I was shithead who didn’t care about anything, now I’m an adult who works at a top tier BB in a great group.

I just feel there’s so much disconnect

Anyone care to chime in? I just find it ridiculous

You’re big chilling. Absolutely no need to take. Will only hurt you unless you get 1500+.

Bruh what school can u even get into with that score lmao

It's around the 99th percentile of all test takers, there's no way people actually think like this, is there?

fwiw i recently started at an MF (ignore title) and while they did initially ask for my SAT score, it was never brought up at any point during the interview process or during the background check. i’m not condoning lying or cheating, but do with that information what you will.
