How big is their intended intern class that they were recruiting at this point in time to begin with?

If you are still in the process of securing a ‘24 internship, I wouldn’t wait around for them given what seems to be the current climate of the firm. Start reaching out to folks at LMM/under the radar MM banks to inquire about possible internship opportunities.

 

That's what I'm unsure of, they opened these apps up like a week ago and I applied within an hour.

Definitely have a lot of options for the LMM and MM banks (mainly focusing on Midwest and West markets but not leaving out NYC area) and having a lot of success on information calls with good impressions and offers to help with interview Q help. Surprised at this but many of them are waiting until Aug/September to open recruiting then doing interviews mid-late sept, per heads of HR
