Would it be a bad idea to accept an associate offer if received?
I currently am a second year analyst who recently applied for a couple associate positions at other banks. For one of those processes, I’m currently at the final round but noticed that most of their previous associate hires have approx 4 years of experience (and even the job description itself mentions that they prefer those with 4+ YOE).
Given that I only have approx 2 YOE, would it be a bad idea to accept the offer if I received it as I fear that I may not be ready skill set wise given the relative lack of experience
Thanks!
They adjust title accordingly. Wouldn’t be interviewing you till the final round if they didn’t want you.
Don’t doubt yourself, take it if you get it.
I once saw 4 people hired at different levels from Sr An to Sr Asso with one job posting (cause every posting costs money).
