I'm coming back to Beijing-Shanghai December-January for a new gig/launching own firm -- and will be converting a 2-story 2000sq ft. luxury hotel room into a club.
This April, we had about 150 guests, in the same complex--half the space. expected 2-1 Girl-Guy ratio (1.62:1 last time), many of us VC/PE/startup/bankers/consultants, expats, students, and grads in the city.
Last party, we had 50 girls and 3 guys by 9pm. Then we had to frantically call even ugly dudes b/c girls were leaving.

7PM onwards - Networking/Business
10PM - Party Starts/Lights Go Out
2AM - Stay for the party, or go with us to Xiu Bar at the Grand Hyatt
4AM - Ghost Street for Hotpot/Dinner/More Drinking
5AM - VICS CLUB/Karaoke if anyone's left.
8AM (Sunday) - Party Ends
Dress code: Club/Formal. Monkeys: bring the blazer. only locals dress like scrubs
4 bedroom hotel: everyone's free to crash.
