Your Resume and the SAT and GPA... When is it a little wonky?

Ok when I graduated from college and began the job search I didn't have great grades. The average GPA at my university was a 2.9 (deflation) and I was below that so I omitted my GPA from the resume. However, I was advised to place my SAT and SAT II scores on my resume when applying for finance related jobs. I thought that was a little wonky but did it anyway and a few people actually complimented me on them and a couple people didn't ask about my GPA.

Anyway, I found that a little surprising. At what point does it become a little wonky to put your GPA on your resume (making everyone elses look more like mine) and at what point is it totally unacceptable to put your very high SAT scores up there?

Now that I have some decent work experience and I am looking to make a change.

Thanks for your thoughts.

Round your GPA to a 3.0 and leave the SAT's off. If anything go study for the GMAT and get a 700 or better and put that on your resume.

A 3.0 with strong work experience should be fine.

You didn't really read what i typed. I know a 3.0 and solid work experience is good enough for any employer. I work for a fucking investment bank. None of my bosses have their fucking gpa on their resume. I asked when people should think about dropping it off?

I read your god damn post and I gave you advice. I advised you to leave it on for now. No one will give a shit because you have work experience.

Pull the stick out of your ass pal.

I stopped putting my GPA on my resume after I made my 1st million... That was at age 15 so I never put it on :D
