I'd invest in new construction real estate. Land is cheap right now because construction financing is hard to get without a lot of equity and labor is cheap (supply/demand). You could easily return 50% on your investment annually. I'm doing 80%.

Virginia Tech 4everI'd invest in new construction real estate. Land is cheap right now because construction financing is hard to get without a lot of equity and labor is cheap (supply/demand). You could easily return 50% on your investment annually. I'm doing 80%.

How would you actually go about doing this?

I'm assuming the OP is trading using a simulator most likely for a school project, therefore I don't think anything pratical like investing in a construction site would apply. Although great idea.

If its real money, give it to HPM and relax. If its fake then find shit with insane vol and go nuts. Nothing like investing with literally no real risk.

Ah yes, good call. I did those projects in college, too. I came in first place even though I didn't know what I was doing (made a lot on high volatility stocks in the first week, sold and held in cash for the rest of the semester like a total b*tch. Held out just long enough to be in the lead at the end of the semester).
