401 (k) matching for 1st year
Do you qualify for 401-k employer matching during your first year of employment (e.g. 1st year IBD analyst) or do you only qualify after 1 year of work (e.g. when you start your 2nd year)?

Sounds like you should be asking HR not WSO
This is going to vary by bank. My firm restricts match to only those that have been with the firm for more than 1 year.
Ask HR, or read the HR manual. Firms have a lot of leeway on when match begins and how/when it vests.
Mine started at 1st year when at corporate and I tried to re-neg on hire to time 0, but they c(wouldn't)....
