Hey! It's Jess here...I worked in equity research for a bulge bracket bank for five years and during that time I regularly visited this forum. I've since moved out of finance and have set up a dating app and website with my sister that matches partners based on their Myers-Briggs personality types. It's called So Syncd. We've had many people sign up who are the same personality types as a lot of people who work in finance, so I thought it would make sense to flag it on here in case any of you are interested. Does this simply match those with same personality traits? I ask because oftentimes the best relationships come from those with differing traits which leads to a balance in the relationship- or is that what you guys are taking into account- anyway interesting concept!
Was also going to comment this - Partners with the same/similar personality type based on a 15 minute test does not necessarily increase likelihood of chemistry/love. If anything, (somewhat) opposites attract more I'd say?
Yes, I had a different account back then :-). Absolutely agree - we match partners with some similarities and some differences. The idea is that you need certain similarities to form a meaningful connection, but certain differences to create a spark. The ideal personality matches would complement each other's strengths and weaknesses.
