Accelerate salary gains in Multy-Family Office Setting

As the title suggests I’m looking for input from some established multi family office operators and others who have some advice for the best way(s) to really boost salary for the first few years on the job.
I know MBA and CFA (3 years down the line) are options but are there any other ways to bring value to the company enough so that they’ll want to compensate you more ?

Thanks.
