Acting as a career post-IB?

I've recently developed an interest in acting from taking weekend classes at my local theater. I work in IB as a 1st year and while the work is fine, I took this job just for the sake of having a job post-grad. I realized through taking classes that I would like to legitimately try giving this a shot, and I know there's no way I could pursue acting while working banker hours. I would love to get any insights from people who have transitioned from finance into creative roles (music, art, acting, etc.) about how they managed to break in from an industry that would seem almost completely unrelated.

Thank you!

I’ve been background as the hippie at the bar in Doug Liman directed shows.

You don’t make much as a beginner actor - you’re going to make much more in IB

Good fucking lord Isaiah, what haven’t you done?  When are you gonna publish your autobiography?
