Adam Neumann - Smooth as Butter
This is a little late, but did everyone here see Adam Neumann's interview with Andrew Ross Sorkin?
I've never seen someone so calm, cool, and collected under pressure.
12/10, dude deserves a standing ovation.

Career Resources
The only people that did anything wrong are the ones that wrote him cheques irresponsibly. Anyone would have things go to their head if they received funding the way he did.
Oh yeah I have no comment or insight into what did or did not transpire at WeWork, I'm just in awe.
Legally wrong or morally wrong? The guy thought of himself as the Messiah, and when it came time for layoffs, he thought the idea of laying off a bunch of people was downright hilarious (he wrote it out in an email). His stated goal for WeWork was to make himself the richest man in the world.
He's the kind of guy that would murder you if you got in his way and he thought he could get away with it. He's an evil person.
I'm just pointing out that the guys writing him a cheque are at far more fault than anyone. So many massive red flags...it's giving a toddler a gun.
See your point but I don't think he's evil. I think he's peak delusional and totally insane given the power the thought he had. While I don't think his intent was malicious, I do think it was as grossly negligent as it comes, if there's even any difference there. Basically I think he was so deluded that he genuinely hit a point where he thought that getting as rich as possible coincided with him being some kind of humanitarian. He harbored the idea that he had created something which was bigger than all of us except him.
A guy I knew growing up, who's probably a clinical psychopath, has spent more than a decade in prison for a laundry list of crimes. He's one of the most confident, chill people you'll meet. There's little correlation between someone's competence, intelligence, or character and how "smooth" they are.
Wait, a narcissistic sociopath is cool and collected in an interview? Stop the presses!
