Advice Needed: Helping someone start a consulting company for VCs
A friend of mine is starting a consulting company and is thinking of gearing it towards VCs. What sort of deliverables would a VC want to see during a pitch?
Some background:
- Friend has 30+ years in HR/Legal/Compliance, 15+ of those years at an executive level
- Has worked in multiple industries (oil, auto, defense, aerospace)
- Company’s goal is to ensure HR/compliance infrastructure is in place so it can stand up to scrutiny as it scales or gets ready to IPO
The original thought was to go directly to startups, but we are thinking it might be better to go to VCs as a way to help protect their investments in specific startups.
