AirPods or a Similar Product

I started looking into getting AirPods.  The current generation is like 50% more expensive than the second generation.  Is there a substantial advantage in getting the most current one?   Are there other alternatives that are as good or better?

Also, do they work with non Apple products?

2nd this, I love my beats, better for exercise because of the wrap around ear function and that way you don't look the exact same as everybody else

The wrap around looks very useful.  I was kind of concerned about the things falling out.  I assume that the wrap around prevents them from getting dislodged.

What kind of sound signature are you going for? What device do you play your music off? What type of music do you listen to? What's your price point?

I am actually looking to use them for online meetings.  The price would depend on what I get out of it. I saw that the latest version has noise cancellation, which seems like a good thing to have.

AirPods will work just fine for online meetings. If you're a real audiophile or want really secure ones to work out with you can do better, but Zoom meetings are pretty light use.

If price is important I like the Jabra Elite Active 65t or 75t, they can be had for like $70 and $150 respectively and are excellent wireless headphones
