Alcohol

I only drink beer. And mostly in the evenings or after a hard work week. Otherwise I don't drink any other alcohol.

Beer: Just give me a Miller Lite. Don't want any IPA or craft beer fr. Liquor: either scotch (Glenfiddich) or a gin and tonic. Wine: pretty much stick with Cabernet.

Sour ale, of any variety. Casa dragones tequila is one of my favorites. A good mezcal is also up there. Recently found Etsu gin out of Hokkaido that is super smooth. For dinner a good Pinot Noir.

I like German Hefeweisen beer. Also aged rum like Flor de Cana 14 year or Ron Zacapa 

Light beer and edibles

I'll have the occasional marg but my go-to is gin. I found this Old Tom gin, Hayman's, that is just out of this world, perfect balance of botanicals, not too sweet, not too dry. 

Bourbon, either neat or usually make it into an old fashioned since that's so easy to do

If beer, always a porter or stout. Wine is my go to, though, as there is a huge variety that is fun to match with meals. No real favorites yet, but I do really like the Tokaji wines from Hungary.
