Alternatives to living in NYC
Hoboken/JC are known, but what are some other options, on all sides of the island, that it would be convenient to get to from.
Basically, I'm looking to move. I currently reside somewhere in the gardens of New Jersey, and it takes me between 45-55 minutes door to door. I'm in to my job at 6:30 in the morning, and usually there until 9-10 at night.
I have personal reasons as to why I can't/won't live in NYC. So I need other alternatives. I'm thinking about Hoboken/JC but I want something more affordable without a roommate. I don't care if its on the NY side of the island instead of the Jersey side.
What about west new york? It's close to hoboken but much more affordable. Moreover, if you live off of boulevard east - some apartments have amazing nyc views, you can hop on a bus, take it through the tunnel and be in midtown in 20 minutes.
